North East fleet allocation card dated 1/4/01 which states 'all operations and vehicles at Hull are transferred to East Midlands', though at the time of writing Hull vehicles were still displaying Cleveland Transit legal lettering and operator discs.

(118 vehicles in all + ancillary vehicles including Dodge Commando driver trainer 15 (D155 HHN))

Note the inclusion of Volvo B6BLEs 481-3 (P366-8 DSA).  These were recently acquired by Busways from Stagecoach Glasgow and were only allocated to Hull on 22nd March.  They are the first vehicles for Hull to wear the new corporate livery.

Added to the Hull fleet are two Alexander-bodied Volvo B6s from Stagecoach North West (Ribble) in the form of 484 (L279 JAO) and 485 (L239 CCW). These are thought to have been acquired after 1st April, though it is noted that they are numbered in the Hull (Transit) series.

In addition to the above,  Volvo  B10M 2259 (P315 EFL) is still in Hull on loan from Busways.  Stagecoach East Midlands Leyland Lynxes 64/5 (E60/1 WDT) were also in use in Hull briefly at the end of March but had gone again within a week being replaced by 484/5. The Lynxes were exchanged with the B6s in order to form part of the fleet of miscellaneous vehicles being transferred to the Blazefield group with some of Stagecoach Ribble's operations.

The first vehicle in the new livery was B10M saloon 2268 (P844 GND) which arrived from Busways.  This was followed by the first repaints in the new corporate livery confirmed as Darlington's B10M coach 83 (R83 SEF) followed by B10M saloons 713 (M713 KRH) from Darlington and 652 (M552 SPY) from Stockton and 712 (M712 KRH) also from Darlington.

83 (R83 SEF) is thought to be the first coach anywhere in the Stagecoach group to be so treated.  It is notable that it took some 2/3 weeks to complete its repaint.

Two Plaxton Paramount Volvo B10M coaches from Stagecoach Scotland East (formerly Bluebird) are being prepared by Busways for the Hartlepool fleet.

They are identified as 33 (927 GTA - former J909NKP) and 34 (J456 FSR) and will replace two of Hartlepool's existing coaches.

Further inter-fleet movements and loans to record are:

Volvo B10M 2268 (P844 GND) received from Busways and allocated to Darlington in exchange for similar 2223 (P123 XCN) which has now returned to Busways.

Dennis Dart 1702 (J702 KCU) received from Busways on loan to Darlington.

Mercedes Benz 709D 1502 (G281 TSL) transferred from Hull to Stockton in exchange for reserve Mercedes Benz 811D 321 (F621 XMS).
